1.) What is a patient web portal?
A patient web portal is a secure online website that gives our patients convenient 24-hour access to personal health information from anywhere with an Internet connection. This secure portal is also a way for our patients to communicate non-urgent messages with our providers and staff.
2.) What kind of information can I access on the patient web portal?
Our patient web portal will allow our established patients to access messages from our staff and providers as well as testing results and medical records that are made available by our providers.
3.) Will have have access to my entire medical record through the patient web portal?
No. You will only have access to your medical records that are specifically posted to the portal by our staff and providers. You have a right to request your entire medical record and you should contact our office via the portal or call us to make that formal request. These requests are processed by Healthport or another authorized HIPAA compliant document manager service and are mailed to you directly.
4.) Will I be able to see testing results on the patient web portal?
The web portal will be used to communicate results to our established patients. Please note that there are certain situations where results may not be posted to the portal such as abnormal results that require a follow up appointment to discuss or sensitive results s
